FlowBorder is a product-sourcing and fulfillment provider with a platform for connecting store orders, arranging goods and tracking shipments. Its free app installation does not make the products or deliveries free. Before switching, get a quote for your actual item and destination, then follow a few agreed orders all the way to delivery and the final invoice.
A buyer asks where their desk organiser is. You have a tracking number, but the carrier hasn’t scanned the parcel in. If you’re comparing suppliers, put the time the number appeared and the time the carrier accepted the parcel in separate columns.
Use the same item and destination when you compare quotes. Then follow the trial parcel to delivery and match the invoice to the agreed charges. Public information was checked on October 30, 2026. We have not installed its app, paid for a plan or tested a shipment.
01
What FlowBorder provides—and what still needs agreement
The FlowBorder website describes sourcing, inspection, packing, fulfillment and international shipping from China. It also advertises branding, on-demand sourcing and support for several selling platforms. Those are capabilities to discuss, rather than a quotation for a particular product.
For example, imagine you sell a wooden desk organiser. The provider needs the actual size, finish and compartments, not just a picture of something similar. Ask how that item is identified, what inspection covers, which packing protects it and where the finished parcel will leave from.
Its published plans provide three starting points:
| Plan | Published subscription | What to settle before paying |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 per month | The available service and the product/order charges |
| Pro | $19 monthly or $197 annually | Included features, actual checkout terms and whether you need the annual commitment |
| Enterprise | Discuss with the team | The site describes a dedicated manager from five orders per day on this plan; obtain your own terms |
Do not read the Enterprise threshold as an automatic promise of a manager, discount or credit line whenever a store reaches five orders. Ask which plan and agreement make those services available to you.
The Shopify App Store listing separately describes free installation and says merchants cover goods and fulfillment costs. It showed one review when checked. That is too little to establish a reliable delivery or failure rate; the star average cannot replace a route-specific trial.
If you are still choosing between a marketplace supplier, sourcing agent and fulfillment service, start with the supplier-selection guide. That decision determines which work you need FlowBorder—or another provider—to perform.
02
Work out one order before choosing a subscription
Ask for one complete quote before deciding whether the subscription is inexpensive. A monthly fee is only one part of the cost of getting an organiser to a buyer.
Here is an illustrative calculation, not a FlowBorder quotation:
| Cost for one organiser order | Assumed amount |
|---|---|
| Product | $5.00 |
| Packing | $1.00 |
| Freight | $7.00 |
| Other agreed order charge | $0.50 |
| Subtotal before subscription allocation | $13.50 |
At an assumed 100 orders in a month, a $19 subscription adds $0.19 per order. The resulting $13.69 is still not your full selling cost: advertising, payment fees, taxes, returns and any other applicable costs remain outside this example.
If the real quote includes packing in the product or fulfillment amount, do not add it again. The point is to identify the included work and exclusions, not to force every provider into separate charges it does not use.
Does annual billing save enough to justify the commitment?
Twelve monthly payments of $19 total $228. The published $197 annual amount is $31 lower, before any applicable tax or other charge. Spread over twelve months, $197 is about $16.42 per month; it is an annual payment, not a monthly cancellation option at that rate.
The current terms distinguish subscription fees from physical-order charges. They describe automatic renewal, cancellation of future renewal and limited subscription refunds after a paid period begins. Confirm the actual checkout terms before choosing a longer commitment.
For a store that has not yet checked product quality, integration or its route, paying monthly can preserve flexibility even when the annual arithmetic is cheaper. That is a decision about your uncertainty, not a claim that either plan performs better.
03
Read the delivery clock from the right starting point
FlowBorder says tracking is generated within 24 hours of dispatch. That starting point matters. It does not mean dispatch occurs within 24 hours of the customer’s purchase, or that the carrier receives the parcel when the number is created.
Imagine this hypothetical sequence:
- The customer pays on Monday.
- The source order is approved and paid on Tuesday.
- The provider records dispatch on Thursday.
- Tracking is generated on Friday.
- The carrier’s first acceptance event appears later.
Friday’s tracking can satisfy a dispatch-based statement while the customer has already waited several days since checkout. Without the earlier dates, you cannot tell whether the delay arose during approval, preparation or transport.

For your trial, keep customer-payment, source-approval, dispatch, tracking and carrier-acceptance times separately. Record delivery too. Ask what the provider means by dispatch and which carrier event confirms the physical handoff.
When building a customer estimate, include preparation as well as transit. The shipping-time guide explains that wider calculation. Use the actual quoted service, destination and business-day convention; a global headline is not a promise for every postal code.
04
Connect one product and run a small parallel trial
A large catalogue import can make a new connection look successful before it has fulfilled anything. Start with the organiser and a defined group of legitimate orders instead.
Before releasing an order
Use the verified provider site or official app listing to reach the connection process. Check the store identity and requested permissions. We have not verified private dashboard buttons, so follow the current account instructions rather than an invented click path.
Then work through the item itself:
- Match the store SKU, selected finish, size and quantity to the source item.
- Obtain the accepted product, packing, route and total quote.
- Agree which event authorizes purchase and shipment, and who handles an exception.
- Choose exactly which new orders belong in the trial. Leave already-purchased orders with their existing supplier unless a transfer is explicitly agreed.
For a sample or controlled order, compare the store selection with the supplier record before payment. After payment, match the charge and supplier reference to that same order. Check the received organiser’s finish, compartment layout and condition against the accepted specification—not merely whether a parcel arrived.
A useful record is small enough to maintain
| Store order | Source assigned | Purchase reference | Next check |
|---|---|---|---|
| O-301 | Existing supplier | Its actual reference | Continue tracking; do not reorder |
| O-302 | FlowBorder trial | Record after purchase | Compare item, charge and dispatch |
| O-303 | Not released | None yet | Resolve the finish before payment |
These are invented order labels illustrating your own log, not FlowBorder screen fields. A connected product, an imported order and a paid source purchase are different observations. Verify each one before enabling broader automatic release.
05
Compare similar orders before calling the new route faster
The easiest comparison is often misleading: take each supplier’s average delivery time and pick the lower number. That can reward a provider simply because it handled more easy destinations.
Consider this hypothetical example, unrelated to measured FlowBorder results. To keep the calculation simple, suppose all orders within each row take the stated time:
| Provider | UK orders | US orders | Overall average |
|---|---|---|---|
| Existing supplier | 9 orders at 6 days | 1 order at 12 days | 6.6 days |
| New trial | 1 order at 5 days | 9 orders at 11 days | 10.4 days |
The new trial has a worse overall average, yet it is one day faster within both destinations. Its mix contains far more of the slower US route. You would reach the wrong conclusion by comparing only 6.6 with 10.4.

The reverse can happen too: a provider can look faster overall because it received more nearby orders while performing worse on the route you actually sell most. You’ll see that each route got faster only if you compare the UK orders with the UK orders and the US orders with the US orders.
Compare the same product, packing, destination and service level. Keep paid-to-dispatch time separate from dispatch-to-delivery time. Include unresolved orders in the record; deleting them leaves only completed successes and makes the trial look better than it is.
A few orders can reveal an obvious mismatch, missing scan or unexpected charge. They cannot establish a stable failure rate for an entire provider. Expand gradually and retain the individual order records rather than turning a tiny pilot into a performance guarantee.
06
Move open orders without buying them twice
The website says FlowBorder can run in parallel with an existing supplier. Parallel operation is useful only when each order has one clear source assignment.
Set the handover boundary
Agree a cutoff rule such as: “Only new paid orders assigned after our recorded handover time enter the trial.” Check the actual integration behavior before relying on that rule. Do not assume connecting a store cancels purchases already made elsewhere or automatically excludes old orders.
Resolve any double assignment
If an order appears at both suppliers, check whether either purchase has been accepted or dispatched before doing anything else. A second purchase can create two parcels and two bills. Ask the relevant teams to confirm the actual state; deleting a store record is not evidence that the source order was canceled.
Keep a way to pause the trial
Keep a rollback plan equally concrete: pause new releases to the trial, retain access to its open orders, assign follow-up responsibility and export the references needed for support. Uninstalling an app first can make the remaining work harder to follow.
Cancellation and refunds answer different questions
Canceling a subscription concerns future access and renewal. Canceling an unshipped source order concerns that purchase. A delivered item problem concerns the applicable product and after-sales terms. Do not treat one approval as covering all three.
Before your first paid order, ask for the claim deadline, required photographs or records, return address process, shipping responsibility and available remedy. Confirm those terms for this product and route. A refund of one charge may still leave advertising costs, customer support time or another unrecovered expense.
07
Questions before paying FlowBorder
Does it work with Shopify only?
Its website lists several integrations, and an official Shopify app is available. Confirm the current connection and supported functions for your platform. A platform name on a marketing page does not establish that every order type, variant or marketplace policy is supported.
Is tracking within 24 hours a delivery guarantee?
No. The stated tracking clock begins at dispatch. Ask separately about approval, preparation, physical carrier handoff and transit for your route.
Can I use private-label packing or cash on delivery?
The site advertises branding and COD services. Obtain the product, quantity, destination, payment collection and reconciliation conditions before making either part of your offer. Neither service should be assumed available on every route or plan.
Does an advertised payment gateway already work?
The site’s Global Gateway section was marked “in implementation” when checked. Do not build your checkout or cash-flow plan around an unconfirmed launch or eligibility.
How can I compare an AIDrop Agent proposal?
Send the same organiser specification, packed measurements, destination and expected order pattern through the quote enquiry. State any inspection, branding or stocking requirement. Comparing the same work gives you a useful alternative; comparing two headline delivery numbers does not.
AIDrop cannot resolve your FlowBorder account, billing or shipment claim. Those need FlowBorder’s own support and the records for the affected order.
