BigBuy is a wholesale and dropshipping supplier with catalog, stock and order-integration services. Its pack choice depends on whether you sell through your own store, a marketplace or a wholesale workflow. Work out the subscription, connector and delivered order costs together before importing a large catalog.
Suppose you find a home accessory that appears to leave €7 after a sale. That can be useful, but it does not yet pay the monthly services needed to run the store. The important question is how the complete setup behaves at the number of orders you can realistically complete.
The supplier guide compares broader sourcing routes. This article focuses on BigBuy’s commercial fit, cost inputs and a small catalog trial. For route-specific installation, use the existing BigBuy WooCommerce guide.
01
Decide what you need BigBuy to do
Separate buying products from connecting software and delivering customer orders. A supplier brand does not make every one of those services free or included in the same purchase.
Write down the business you intend to run: selling channel, delivery markets, product family and order flow. That gives you a reason to choose a pack and connector.
| Decision | Example to make explicit |
|---|---|
| Selling channel | Your own online store, a marketplace or wholesale orders |
| First product family | A small home-accessory range rather than the whole catalog |
| Delivery market | Named destinations with actual postcode quotes |
| Catalog management | Which system controls stock and product references |
| Order management | Which route sends, funds and tracks orders |
The official pack page describes its wholesale and integration arrangements. Use it to understand the offered roles, then obtain the selected account’s current terms.
Start with a product family you can explain and support. Hundreds of imported titles are not a reason for customers to buy from your store. You still need accurate inclusion, useful product information and a workable delivered cost.
If you need a custom manufactured product or a different sourcing origin, compare that separate route on its own terms. BigBuy’s catalog fit and a China-side sourcing project answer different purchasing questions.
02
Match the pack and connector to the selling channel
A compatible connector is not necessarily included without an additional charge. Ask which services the selected pack includes and which are purchased separately.
The checked official pack description distinguishes these roles:
| Pack role | Intended use to investigate |
|---|---|
| B2B | Wholesale purchasing under its stated conditions |
| Ecommerce | An own-store integration arrangement |
| Marketplaces | Marketplace integration requirements |
The public documentation explains the roles, but we could not verify current checkout fees or every restricted conditions page during this review. Third-party articles also quote different prices. Do not use the worked amounts below as BigBuy’s current fees.
Before subscribing, obtain an itemized quote that identifies:
- Setup or registration charge.
- Monthly versus annual billing and renewal conditions.
- Selected ecommerce or marketplace connector.
- Extra channels, services or add-ons.
- Tax basis and any trial or cancellation conditions.
Keep the quote’s date, currency and billing term. A monthly equivalent advertised for annual payment is not the cash charged for a month-by-month plan.
Choose one controlling integration route. The WooCommerce article explains why the official connector and a third-party connector should not be treated as one interchangeable setup. Installing more routes can create conflicting stock, price or order behavior instead of extra reliability.
03
Price one delivered basket before importing it
Quote the exact customer order: product reference, quantity, delivery address and selected service. A product’s wholesale price is only one input.
BigBuy’s public pack FAQ defines distributor price and recommended retail price on a VAT-exclusive basis. Keep that basis visible. A recommended price is not proof that customers will pay it, and it does not establish your net proceeds.
| Quote field | Record to obtain |
|---|---|
| Product | Exact reference and sellable quantity |
| Goods amount | Currency and tax basis |
| Shipping | Destination, service and complete charge |
| Extra handling | Any charge outside the goods and shipping lines |
| Sales collected | Your actual selling price on a consistent accounting basis |
| Selling costs | Payment, marketplace and acquisition charges where applicable |
Use the same tax basis when comparing costs and revenue. Get appropriate accounting advice for your actual VAT, import or cross-border arrangement; a supplier FAQ does not determine your treatment for every destination.
For a pilot, choose one item and a two-item basket. Ask for both to two intended delivery destinations. This can reveal a low-priced product whose postage makes it unsuitable for one market, or a bundle whose items do not share the shipping you expected.

Compare that actual offer with competitors serving the same buyers. A suggested retail price can be a useful reference, but it does not remove local competition or substitute for a customer reason to buy.
04
See how many orders the monthly fees require
Positive contribution from one order is a start. Fixed service charges still need to be paid before the business reaches a surplus.
This example uses assumed euro amounts on a consistent VAT-exclusive basis. It is not a current BigBuy quote or a sales forecast.
| One completed order | Amount |
|---|---|
| Sale | €49.00 |
| Goods | −€24.00 |
| Shipping | −€8.00 |
| Payment cost | −€1.50 |
| Customer acquisition | −€7.00 |
| Remedy allowance | −€1.50 |
| Contribution before fixed costs and tax | €7.00 |
Now assume the selected monthly service pool costs €150. You need 22 completed orders at €7 contribution to cover that pool: 21 orders contribute €147, while 22 contribute €154.

| Completed orders in the month | Contribution | After assumed €150 service pool |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | €70 | −€80 |
| 22 | €154 | €4 |
| 30 | €210 | €60 |
Those figures still exclude other fixed costs and tax. A first-month setup charge needs an additional line, and an annual commitment changes the cash required even when its advertised monthly equivalent looks lower.
The calculation explains the decision: if you cannot support the required order volume or product contribution, reconsider the plan, product, market or supplier route before subscribing. A catalog import does not create the missing orders.
Use low-volume and less favorable shipping scenarios as well as your expected one. If the business works only when every optimistic assumption comes true, the apparent margin is fragile.
05
Import a small catalog as drafts and assign field ownership
Start with a limited set of products, such as ten exact references you have already quoted. This is a proposed pilot size, not a platform rule.
Keep them as drafts while you inspect the data. Each product needs useful copy, legitimate image rights, accurate inclusion and appropriate resale permission where a brand is involved.
| Field | Responsibility to decide |
|---|---|
| Supplier reference and stock | The selected supplier/integration source |
| Store title and explanation | Your editorial decision, with updates controlled |
| Retail price | Your chosen pricing method and permitted exceptions |
| Product variants | A clear mapping to real supplier references |
| Customer order | One controlling integration route |
| Tracking | The accepted supplier shipment tied to the store order |
If the connector overwrites your edited description during synchronization, fix that ownership before expanding. Otherwise, the careful product explanation can disappear after the next update.
Check variant names and units. “One” can mean one sellable set or one individual piece. A quantity or size error is not corrected by a working API connection.
Read the actual published page on a phone before making the pilot live. Make sure the buyer can find dimensions, included parts, delivery conditions and return information without translating an imported supplier title.
06
Verify shipping and one paid customer order
The checkout shipping promise and supplier bill should describe the same basket and service. An integrated shipping field is not proof that every destination is ready to sell.
For the proposed pilot, trace a controlled paid order:
- Select the product and variant in the customer-facing store.
- Check availability, address eligibility and the checkout amount.
- Retain the store order ID and selected supplier reference.
- Confirm supplier acceptance and the production or stock charge.
- Compare actual shipping with the basket quote.
- Match tracking and received contents to that original order.
Repeat the relevant basket check when adding a materially different product, destination or shipping arrangement. A successful one-item order does not establish that a mixed basket will combine into one parcel.
If an order stalls, identify the last confirmed state before retrying. A supplier may already have accepted it while an update has failed to reach the store. Reconcile the existing IDs instead of creating a duplicate charge and shipment.
Keep usable funds available for the supplier. The supplier payment guide explains the difference between a customer’s paid receipt, a pending payout and a supplier-funded order.
07
Agree the return route and stock-failure response
Get the current claim and return arrangements before the pilot becomes a larger catalog. The complete provider conditions were not readable in this research, so this guide does not publish an unverified fixed return deadline.
Ask for the actual evidence window, authorization process, return location, cancellation cutoff and shipping responsibility. Keep them with the selected account’s terms.
| Failure | Useful response to arrange |
|---|---|
| Stock disappears | Hold the variant and give the customer a supported choice |
| Wrong item | Compare order reference, received item and pack evidence |
| Damage | Retain product and outer-parcel photographs |
| Duplicate order | Reconcile original acceptance and funding before further action |
| Customer return | Use the agreed authorization and location while meeting your retail responsibilities |
Do not replace an unavailable item with a similar product without permission. A brand, size, finish or included accessory can be the reason the buyer selected it.
Resolve the customer’s issue while pursuing supplier reimbursement. A vendor’s return term and your buyer-facing obligation are separate matters.
If the actual comparison points toward a China-side sourcing or fulfillment alternative, send AIDrop the matched product basket and destinations. Include stock, packing and handling needs. A matched basket makes the quote comparable; a request to “beat BigBuy” without those inputs does not.

BigBuy dropshipping questions
Is BigBuy automatically the best choice for US customers?
No. Quote the actual destination, delivery conditions and return route. Compare it with alternatives on the same order. A supplier’s European focus or international-shipping description does not settle your particular US offer.
Can I freely resell every branded catalog item?
Confirm the product’s authorized sourcing, resale conditions and selling-channel rules. Catalog access is not blanket permission to use every brand or protected image wherever you choose.
Should prices update automatically?
Use a controlled pricing method that accounts for full costs and preserves deliberate exceptions. Test what the selected connector changes. An automatic wholesale-price update can still leave the retail price below your required contribution.
