Dropship.io is worth a focused trial for recurring TikTok Shop product/shop research or Facebook ad research. Basic costs $39 USD monthly, or $312 upfront annually.

If your next obstacle is a sample, supplier or money for an order, finish that job before adding the research bill. Its libraries can organize ideas; they do not supply the product.

Imagine finding a collapsible pet bowl in a video. You want to compare similar offers, see whether the displayed interest lasts and work out whether you can supply a good version at a sensible price. Those are concrete reasons to try the tool.

01

Our verdict: useful research, with a recurring bill

What is useful What you still need to allow for
TikTok product/shop research and Facebook ad research together Those results do not reveal another seller’s complete costs or profit
Saved products and shops to follow over time Viewing credits and tracking caps vary by plan
Documented imports and store-building features A listing is not a purchased sample, paid supplier order or shipped parcel
A short chance to try the relevant tools The three-day trial charges afterward unless canceled

On a phone, swipe the table sideways to compare every column.

This is a review of published features and terms, not a paid-account accuracy test. We rechecked the pricing, library instructions, trial, cancellation and refund help on October 11, 2026. Other connections and store-builder terms retain the dated source scope explained below.

The service reviewed is dropship.io. A similarly named Shopify listing names InnovationLabs and dropshiptool.io; its connection to the official service remains unconfirmed. Follow the official account’s connection path rather than treating that listing’s reviews and prices as this subscription’s.

02

What the tools actually do

The current getting-started guide covers research, imports and store building. Product Library and Sales Tracker now focus on TikTok Shop products and shops. An older review describing only Shopify tracking may lead you to expect a different product.

For the bowl, choose the question before the feature:

Your question Relevant tool Useful output
Which similar bowls are sold on TikTok Shop? Product Library A few comparable products found with category, price and other filters
What else does a shop sell and how does its displayed activity change? Shop Library The surrounding catalog, prices and reported trends
Does the interest last beyond one video? Sales Tracker A saved product or shop to follow over time
How does an advertiser demonstrate the problem? Ad Library Facebook creatives filtered by relevant country, dates and other details
How do competing offers describe the item? Competitor Research Related listings found by words, domain or price
Where do I start without a product idea? Portfolio A curated shortlist to investigate

On a phone, swipe the table sideways to compare every column.

Other features answer narrower questions. Magic AI Search accepts an image, video, link or words to find related results. Creator Library concerns TikTok creators and associated products or videos. Advertiser tracking follows Facebook advertisers and new creative activity.

You do not have to use every library. For a known bowl idea, three comparable offers and a short watchlist may be more useful than hundreds of unrelated suggestions. Compare the capacity, material, included clip or extra bowl and the destination of the offer.

A bowl search you can repeat

Use this proposed setup to compare the bowl, not to search for a guaranteed winner. The official Product Library guide documents price and word filters, product details and the tracking heart. No private search or paid account was used for this example.

Set a small search

Open Product Library. Set a starting USD price range of $15–$40, then use Advanced Filters to include bowl in the product title. Adjust the range if it excludes the actual version you need; it is a working example, not a market benchmark.

Compare like with like

Open three relevant results. Record the displayed price/currency, variant, included pieces, shop, date and reporting period. Remove an unrelated feeding stand or a two-bowl bundle from a single-bowl comparison instead of averaging unlike offers.

Save and verify separately

Use the heart to add the candidate to Sales Tracker and revisit the same period. Then check the actual seller page and buyer destination for the exact variant and delivered offer. A rising app estimate does not verify stock, quality, shipping or net profit.

For a demonstration idea, use Ad Library’s documented country, dates and video filters. Keep that ad search separate from the Product Library comparison: an ad’s spend and reach describe that advertisement, not confirmed sales of the bowl. The Ad Library guide explains those limits.

A supplier link is a lead to investigate, not approval of the item you will receive. A useful video can teach a demonstration idea, but its footage and creator’s work are not automatically available for your own advertising.

03

What the numbers mean for a new seller

An estimate leaves out the merchant’s costs

A shop’s rising revenue estimate can make the bowl worth investigating. It does not show how much money that seller keeps.

Displayed information How to use it What it does not tell you
Estimated daily shop revenue Compare reported activity over a similar period The merchant’s bank receipts, refunds or profit
Ad spend Compare one advertisement’s reported spending The whole campaign or ad-group bill
EU reach Understand people reached at least once How many bought, or what each purchase earned
Ad duration and engagement Notice an offer or demonstration worth studying That your store will get the same result

On a phone, swipe the table sideways to compare every column.

The Ad Library help explains the single-ad spend and EU-reach meanings. The provider’s figures are useful research inputs; we have not compared them with private merchant orders.

Calculator defaults are not your costs

The Competitor Research calculator guide describes defaults of 25,000 units, a payment fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 and an acquisition cost equal to one-third of the selling price. Acquisition cost is what you spend to bring in a buyer. For a $30 item, that assumed one-third is $10; it is not a measured advertising result for your bowl.

Replace the defaults with your chosen variant’s supplier cost, shipping, payment fees, customer-remedy allowance and advertising assumptions. A calculator can do the subtraction, but it cannot decide what the actual supplier will charge or forecast 25,000 orders.

04

Plans, limits and money due now

The official price explanation lists three USD plans. The annual term changes the payment commitment, rather than turning the displayed monthly equivalent into a monthly bill.

Plan Monthly payment Annual payment upfront Annual monthly equivalent
Basic $39 $312 $26
Standard $59 $408 $34
Premium $99 $588 $49

On a phone, swipe the table sideways to compare every column.

Annual billing takes $312 upfront

Basic for 12 monthly payments costs $39 × 12 = $468. Paying $312 annually saves $156 against that comparison, but needs $312 now. If you are still deciding whether you will use the tool, start by evaluating the task and cash commitment rather than the smaller-looking $26 figure.

Choose by the watchlist you will use

The current plan comparison includes these limits:

Allowance Basic Standard Premium
Product Library credits 10,000 25,000 50,000
Ad Library credits 10,000 25,000 50,000
Shop Library credits 5,000 12,500 25,000
TikTok shops tracked 10 25 50
TikTok products tracked 25 50 100

On a phone, swipe the table sideways to compare every column.

A credit is an allowance for viewing information, not an order to send. The detailed Shop and Ad Library text says one view uses one credit and the allowance resets at the next billing cycle. Product Library’s credit description mistakenly refers to an “ad,” so its exact deduction behavior is not established here.

Confirm the conflicting advertiser allowance

There is another specific uncertainty: Advertiser Library’s summary lists 5,000/12,500/25,000 credits, while its detailed section lists 10,000/25,000/50,000. If that library is central to your purchase, get its actual account allowance clarified before paying.

For three bowl products and a few shops, Basic’s listed tracking caps may be enough. Upgrade only when a useful watchlist exceeds them.

A larger allowance will not provide a missing supplier or make a loss-making bowl profitable. Keep the sample and order budget separate.

05

A useful three-day trial, with a clear stopping point

The trial instructions, dated August 2026, say the trial lasts three days and charges afterward unless you cancel. Plan for that short window, rather than an older seven-day offer.

For the bowl, give the trial a small task you can finish:

When Your task Useful result
Before starting Choose the audience, target market and one bowl question; see the selected plan, billing term, amount and renewal deadline You know what you are testing and when to decide
First research session Find three comparable offers and inspect their variants, prices and related shop or ad information A shortlist with a reason for each candidate
Before the deadline Decide whether the tools answered the question well enough to justify the bill Keep the chosen term, or cancel before renewal

On a phone, swipe the table sideways to compare every column.

Set the reminder before the trial ends. The payment-method help lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB and China UnionPay; the public FAQ says PayPal is not accepted. This is the published list, not a tested promise that every issuer or country’s card will work.

Cancel through the current plan

The official cancellation guide gives the account path:

  1. Click your name in the dashboard and open Account settings → Plan.
  2. Select the plan marked current, open its three-dot menu and choose cancellation.
  3. Check the resulting status. Contact support promptly if it is unclear or incorrect.

The FAQ describes access ending at the trial or billing-cycle end. Cancel before the three-day trial expires if you do not want the charge. The official refund help, updated August 9, 2026 and checked October 11, says the provider does not refund when the trial was not cancelled before expiry.

That published condition addresses a missed trial cancellation. It does not establish every possible billing dispute or legal remedy. Save the cancellation result and contact support promptly if the account or charge does not match it.

If you change tiers, the plan-change instructions describe a prorated charge according to the change and renewal date. Read the amount shown before confirming the upgrade.

06

Put the bowl through one complete order calculation

Research is useful when it leads to a version you can supply. For a bowl carried on dog walks, obtain the exact capacity, material, included accessories, packing, availability and shipping cost to the customer’s destination. Similar-looking bowls need not be the same item.

Here is a hypothetical USD order, not a supplier quote, app result or tested campaign:

  • Buyer pays: $30.00
  • Bowl from the supplier: −$8.00
  • Supplier shipping: −$5.00
  • Payment fee: −$1.20
  • Refund/replacement allowance: −$1.80
  • Left before ads, fixed costs and taxes: $14.00

The subtraction is $30 − $8 − $5 − $1.20 − $1.80 = $14. If acquiring that buyer costs $10, $4 remains before subscriptions, samples, other overhead and taxes. The remedy allowance may be too small; replace every assumed amount with costs for your actual version and destination.

Illustrative $30 bowl order: $14 remains before ads and $4 after a $10 acquisition cost.
Hypothetical USD order: $30 − $8 − $5 − $1.20 − $1.80 = $14; $14 − $10 ads = $4 before subscriptions and taxes. The remedy allowance may be too small.

Ten such hypothetical orders leave $40 after the listed costs and advertising. Subtracting a $39 Basic monthly research bill leaves only $1 before the remaining expenses and taxes. Ten orders are not a prediction; the comparison shows why a positive amount per sale can still leave very little after a subscription.

Keep the order money separate from the research bill

  • The supplier may need its assumed $8 product payment and $5 shipping before the customer’s money is paid out to your bank. Have that $13 available when the order needs placing.
  • You pay for samples and store expenses separately. A research subscription does not buy the bowl.
  • A customer refund or replacement is your response to the buyer. Any supplier credit is a separate payment and may arrive later.

The product-research guide covers the broader work. A useful result from Dropship.io is a smaller, better-explained shortlist and questions you can take to suppliers. The sample and full order costs tell you whether that idea can become your offer.

07

Move one researched product into a store you can actually supply

Dropship.io’s Shopify instructions document a product-import connection. With an existing Shopify store:

  1. Open your Dropship account name and choose Connect a Shopify Store, then Connect.
  2. Follow the official Shopify App Store/login-with-store-URL path and install the app shown by that connection.
  3. Import the chosen product, then read its title, variants, images, price and delivery statement before publishing.

Importing the listing does not place the order

An import transfers listing information. For the bowl, the supplier still needs the correct version, address and payment, and the buyer needs tracking and help with problems. Generated or imported descriptions cannot inspect your sample.

The provider also documents connecting an existing AutoDS account. That is a separate account and service. Our AutoDS versus Dropship.io comparison explains why researching an offer and running its orders are different purchases.

If you use the store builder

The Build Store guide describes choosing a niche and banners, claiming a Shopify store, activating a paid Shopify plan, customizing and publishing. That can provide a starting page, not permanently free Shopify.

Check the offer actually available to you

The Shopify connection article advertises a one-month introductory offer, while another help page describes a different duration. Use the promotion and eligibility actually offered to your account; do not build the budget around the most generous wording from different pages.

Before opening the store, finish these practical jobs:

  • Describe the bowl and accessories you can actually supply, with original or authorized pictures.
  • Price the selected version with destination shipping and customer-remedy costs.
  • Arrange supplier payment and dispatch, tracking to the buyer and a response if the item arrives damaged.

Dropship.io fits when its research helps you make these product decisions regularly enough to justify the fee. If you mainly need stock updates, supplier payments or order handling, the product-research tools guide helps distinguish research from the other tools you may need.

Resolve the physical product next

Still missing a supplier answer for the bowl? AIDrop Agent’s product-sourcing service can help discuss China-side suppliers, samples, capacity, material and packing.

Send the product link, destination, expected orders and unresolved question. Confirm the item’s price and route; this is not a promised app connection or guaranteed winning product.

08

Frequently asked questions

Does Dropship.io buy and ship products for me?

The documented import transfers listing information. The supplier still needs the exact variant, destination and payment, and your buyer still needs tracking and support. Any connected AutoDS account is a separate service; a research subscription does not buy the product.

Can I use reviews of a similarly named Shopify app to judge it?

The Shopify listing discussed above names a different developer and domain; its connection to the official service remains unconfirmed. Follow the connection offered inside the official account. Do not treat that other listing’s reviews or prices as evidence about this subscription.

Does cancelling the trial also refund a charge?

No. The documented trial charges after three days unless cancelled first. The provider’s published refund help says it does not refund a charge caused by failing to cancel before trial expiry. Cancellation stops the relevant renewal/access under the stated terms; it does not reverse an existing charge. For a different or disputed charge, give support the actual account and payment details.
