Costway offers approved dropshipping programs, including separate US and UK routes. Apply for the market you will sell into, get permission for your sales channel and use the approved product feed. Do not copy the rules from another country’s Costway website: the current US program prohibits Amazon resale, while the UK page contains different marketplace wording.
The useful question is whether a specific Costway product can be sold through your store, at your delivered price, with a workable after-sales route. A large catalog and a discount badge do not settle those points.
01
Can you sell through the US or UK program?
At the October 15, 2026 check, the current US dropship program prohibited Amazon resale and described selective approval for other marketplaces. Its approved independent-site route allows specified product assets. The UK program page contains different Amazon guidance and describes country-specific registration.
Some older Costway pages also contain marketplace advice that differs from the current US program. Do not treat the more permissive page as authorization. Ask the program team for the terms that apply to your account, market and channel, and retain the written answer.

| Your intended route | What to establish before listing |
|---|---|
| US independent website | US program approval and permitted product/asset use |
| US marketplace | Exact channel approval; the current US program prohibits Amazon |
| UK store | UK account terms, delivery coverage and channel permission |
| More than one country | Separate market/account requirements and the correct product version |
Selling-platform policy remains another layer. Supplier permission does not automatically satisfy a marketplace’s own product or fulfillment rules. A model offered on two country sites may also differ in plug, manual or other market-specific details.
The supplier selection guide explains how to compare different supplier arrangements. For local-stock options, use the UK supplier guide and US supplier guide to put Costway’s regional programs in context.
What approval needs to cover
Prepare your store URL, business details, sales channel, destinations and the range you intend to sell. Use the regional program application, rather than assuming a normal retail account provides reseller approval.
The UK page requires an operating store and describes certification after an application. The US program describes a representative providing approved partners with product information and a CSV file. Application or reply estimates are provider statements, not a guarantee that a particular application will be accepted.
Ask for a short written summary covering channel permission, product exclusions, price rules, image rights, order placement and after-sales contacts. Confirm whether any minimum advertised price or other restriction applies to the selected products; do not infer the answer from a blank FAQ heading.
Keep dropship, wholesale and affiliate arrangements separate. A bulk-buy discount is not automatically an individual-order fulfillment agreement. An affiliate sends a shopper to another seller and earns commission; a dropship retailer takes the customer’s order and remains their seller. Apply for the arrangement that matches the business you will actually operate.
02
What you really pay for a Costway order
Regional discount structures differ. At the check date, the UK page displayed a 10% entry level, while the current US page displayed an initial 18% level. Use the rate actually granted to your account and the resulting checkout total. Confirm coupon-combination conditions instead of adding every advertised promotion together.
Consider an illustrative UK order in pounds:
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Customer payment | £149.00 |
| Actual supplier checkout total | −£100.00 |
| Payment processing | −£4.80 |
| Acquisition | −£18.00 |
| Remedy allowance | −£6.00 |
| Contribution before other costs and tax | £20.20 |
The £100 input means the amount you actually pay for the quoted product and delivery. If a quote of £100 excludes a further £20 charge you must pay, the same arithmetic leaves £0.20. This is an illustration of checking price inclusions, not advice on your VAT treatment or recoverability.
Save the SKU, postcode, currency, granted discount, quotation date and checkout amount. Include any payment or service charges that actually apply. A small-item calculation cannot safely stand in for a bulky furniture order with collection or replacement-part costs.
Use actual orders to revise your remedy allowance over time. The allowance is an operating estimate; it does not cap the refund or replacement cost when a specific customer has a valid problem.
03
A stock feed does not reserve the product
Costway’s product-file guidance describes catalog files and integration options. The UK program says its feed updates daily. Establish the route provided to your account and its actual update timing.
A daily stock file can become stale after another seller buys the remaining goods. Importing it does not reserve that stock. It also does not place or pay for a customer’s supplier order.
For an illustrative store setup, keep these records separate:
| Record | Example purpose |
|---|---|
| Supplier SKU | Exact product and option to purchase |
| Store variant reference | The choice the customer makes |
| Feed timestamp | When the quantity or price was last supplied |
| Available quantity rule | What the store may offer given shared stock and update delay |
| Supplier order reference | The specific accepted purchase for the customer |
Test more than a successful import. Confirm what happens when quantity becomes zero, a price changes and one product is absent from a file. A missing row could be a discontinued item or a failed export. Your process should flag the uncertainty instead of blindly applying an unrelated quantity or price.
Start with a manageable group of products. Check actual store pages after import: variant, currency, dimensions, image, stock and selling price. The feed’s column order or wording may need mapping to your platform; a CSV file is not automatically a Shopify, WooCommerce or marketplace integration.
04
After a customer pays, where does the order go?
The US program describes placing the corresponding supplier order after your customer buys. The dropship terms distinguish an order acknowledgement from acceptance and state operating conditions around payment and unavailable stock. Confirm the current account terms before relying on that process.
For a proposed first-order test:
- Select an approved product and destination, using the exact store variant.
- Confirm the customer payment and store order details.
- Place or verify the corresponding Costway order through the supported route.
- Check the SKU, quantity, customer address, discount and supplier payment.
- Record acceptance, shipment and tracking separately.
- Compare the delivered product and parcel contents with the store offer.
If the order stalls, locate the last confirmed stage. An order missing at the supplier needs a different response from an accepted order awaiting dispatch. Check the existing reference before making a manual replacement order; otherwise, two supplier purchases can follow one customer sale.
Do not use a new SKU as a silent substitute for an unavailable item. Dimensions, assembly, appearance and documentation can change. Pause the listing or offer a clearly described alternative with the buyer’s agreement.
05
Two cartons, one missing part: planning the remedy
A missing bolt in a furniture pack, a damaged tabletop and a change-of-mind return need different remedies. Establish the appropriate evidence and authorization route before you promise one standard solution for everything.
For bulky products, record the number of cartons, carrier labels, model and relevant part references. If only one of two cartons arrives, the tracking may show a partial delivery rather than a completed order. Explain that to the customer while checking the remaining parcel.
Ask the program team who arranges collection, where returns go, what packaging must be retained and how missing or damaged parts are handled. Use the regional policy applicable to your account; do not copy a warranty duration from another country’s retail product page.
The UK guarantee page is a starting reference, with current account conditions still to verify. Supplier reimbursement and your customer remedy should be tracked separately. The buyer needs a clear next step even while a claim is being assessed.
If a supported replacement part will solve the issue, confirm its exact reference and shipment. If a full return is needed, give one authorized set of instructions rather than sending the buyer to an unconfirmed warehouse address.
Resolve conflicting policy pages before copying a guarantee
At the check date, the UK dropship page described a 90-day quality guarantee, while the UK guarantee page used a 365-day return-guarantee heading and referred readers to detailed return conditions. Those are public statements with different scopes. Do not select the longest period and paste it into your store as an unconditional supplier-funded promise.
Ask the program team which conditions cover your account, product and problem. Keep its answer with the order policy. Ask separately about a damaged arrival, a product fault after use and a buyer changing their mind; one time period does not settle collection charges or eligibility for every case.
For a two-carton table set, a useful case record includes both tracking numbers, which carton arrived, the part or panel affected, photographs and the requested remedy. If the supplier approves a replacement panel, record its part reference and tracking against the original order. That prevents a customer-service note saying “replacement sent” from being mistaken for proof that a complete second table is on the way.

When the program fits your store
It can be worth investigating when an approved regional catalog matches your audience and you can manage the product’s delivery and support needs. A narrow collection of well-described products is easier to maintain than importing thousands of items with different assembly and return requirements.
It may be a poor fit if your plan depends on a prohibited channel, unconfirmed white-label packaging or product customization the program does not offer. Resolve those questions before building the store around them.
For a pilot, track completed-order contribution, stock cancellations, parcel issues and the actual time spent answering customers. Those records help decide whether to add products, change the range or stop selling an item. Provider claims and catalog breadth cannot substitute for your own observed results.
If you instead need custom sourcing, packaging or a different fulfillment setup, send AIDrop your product brief. We can review that separate scope; we do not manage Costway accounts or grant Costway reseller permission.

Costway account and selling questions
Can I sell Costway products on Amazon?
The current US program page checked on October 15, 2026 prohibits Amazon resale. Other regional or older pages contain different wording. Confirm your exact program and never use a conflicting page as permission.
Does the CSV automatically fulfill Shopify orders?
A product file does not establish automatic ordering. Confirm which tool imports products, updates stock, creates the supplier order, pays it and returns tracking.
Are customer parcels white label?
Ask about the exact packaging, branding, documents and route. Product-image rights or dropship approval alone do not prove that all supplier branding is removed.
Can I use one account for every country?
Confirm each regional program’s requirements. Product, payment, channel and account arrangements can differ between countries.
Sources and scope
Public program information was checked on October 15, 2026. Examples are illustrative, and no Costway account application, integration or paid test order is claimed.
